“I love being retired and living in beautiful Greensboro North Carolina, creating works of Art as I am inspired by life around me and also painting commissioned pieces as ordered. I was born in Blacksburg Virginia, grew up in Maryland, moved to Central Virginia in 2005 and finally moved to North Carolina in 2021 to join my folks and siblings and their families who all live here! 

“As a child I remember many trips to my grandparents houses traveling from Maryland to Christiansburg to Radford VA. I loved to sit between Mom and Dad in the front seat and had long conversations with my Dad. I viewed the landscape over and over again. The rolling hills were like waives in the ocean and are are embedded in my memory. Dad said draw and paint what you see, so I did.  Then I went on to study Commercial Advertising Art at Shepherd University. Although I selected a career in HR and Office Management I kept painting as a hobby, and now I have been painting landscapes, family homes, flowers, portraits and animals for over 50 years. Now happily retired in 2022, I can focus on my studio work full time!”
