Jason has always looked at the world through the eyes of an artist. He tries to find the beauty in everything he sees. Wood turning has given him the ability to bring his creativity to life, as something tangible that can be touched. He continuously strives to make art that evokes a sense of wonder from those who view it. He wants his art to tell a story that he is able to share with others. He feels that he is creating “legacy artwork”, as the wood he primarily uses is older than he is, and the resulting work will be around long after him.

The passion for his art is quite evident in everything he makes, from the simplest bowl to the most intricate vase. He loves what he does and strives to learn more with every single piece he undertakes.
